Most of the corn crop in North India threatened by an important disease called Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB)—a fungal disease. This disease is identified by long elliptical spots or lesions on the leaves. If left unmanaged, this disease can reduce photosynthetic activity and yield. Bayer’s Nativo offers reliable and complete disease management and should be applied at the first sign of disease.

The active ingredient of Nativo is Tebuconazole 50% + Trifloxystrobin 25% WG). Pack sizes are 10 g, 50 g, 100 g, 250 g, 500 g, and 1 kg. Its formulation is Water dispersible granules. It is effective against different types of diseases.

Combination of two different modern modes of action - Excellent curative activity due to Tebuconazole & protective action due to Trifloxystrobin. Demonstrates mesostemic action (good penetration and re-distribution). Gives broad-spectrum control on targeted diseases, with flexibility in application time. Provides stress tolerance to crops against biotic and abiotic factors.

To manage Northern Corn Leaf Blight spray Nativo at the dose of 140 g per acre using 200 liters of spray fluid as 1st application at 5-6 leaf stage (Preventive application). For healthy development of cob, second application should be at the tassel formation stage. The waiting period is about 15 days.

Use 15-liter battery operated Knapsack sprayer. Spray interval between two fungicidal applications is 10 - 12 days spray interval between two fungicidal applications in normal situation. If the climatic situations are favourable for disease progression, then the spray interval between two fungicides should be 7 - 10 days.

Use minimum 10 tanks / Acre i.e. 200 liters of water. Take 10 liters of water in a bucket and mix 140 gm Nativo which is to be applied for the entire acre (Stock solution). Stir well at every refilling of the Knapsack pump and use each liter of Stock solution for each knapsack pump while application.

Nativo is a powerful fungicide that protects and treats plants for diseases. Tebuconazole stops fungi from growing, while trifloxystrobin disrupts the fungal respiration. Together, they keep crops healthy and disease-free.

Tebuconazole stops fungi from forming cell walls, preventing their growth and reproduction. Trifloxystrobin disrupts the respiration of plant-pathogenic fungi. Nativo has mesostemic action. Nativo has high affinity with waxy layer, Re-distribute at the plant surface by superficial vapor movement and penetrate the leaf tissue.

Check weather conditions before application. Do not use on crops other than the ones specified. This product is known to possess toxicity to fish and aquatic invertebrates, so it is not recommended to be used in and around aquaculture.

Nativo should be applied as a preventive fungicide. Nativo should be used as a part of sequential spray.

Tebuconazole residue should be taken into consideration as per the norms of exporting country.
